  • Earn a place in the World Championship
  • Qualify for over $12 million in college scholarships
  • Teams also must raise funds, design and market their team brand, and do community outreach for which they can win awards.

  • Robot Starter Kit: ~$1200 USD (~$1500 CAD), including Controls Set, Cost: $265 USD (~$335 CAD); Electronics Set, Cost: $282 USD (~$360 CAD); Competition Set, Cost: $550-950 USD
    The robot kit is reusable from year-to-year and can be programmed using a variety of languages, including Java.
